Following the Grenfell disaster in 2017 a protest was organised under the name ‘Day of Rage’ the march was widely rejected by the victims of the disaster. It coincided with the state opening of parliament following Theresa May’s Victory in a snap election. Though the concerns of the press regarding violence were well founded only a small number of arrests were made.
